Hurry Up and Wait

Poor Mr. Viagra... no win last night. The relievers bringing no relief to anyone. Maybe Gange and Cordero look more worth it after the haze of last night's 13th inning loss? Maybe. We'll probably see one of them in the postseason (or at least a girl can hope). But ya can't go back to yesterday at 3:59, can you? Three games ain't much. But it's where we are today. I don't love it, it's not August 2006 but I still believe.

A heart breaker for Tommy G last night. It was all his, just needed the bullpen to get 8 outs. I also thought Willie was going to talk to Tommy and leave him in for one more batter, since he was only at 95 pitches and he was going for 300.

It was only a matter of time before the bullpen gave it up last night, the Brewers left like 15 guys on in innings 8-12. Alou is killing us right now, he has had a bunch of chances to push a run across in a big spot. Castillo had a chance with them loaded too, Wright as well.

It sucks that the Mets' Gary Cohen and Co. won't be announcing Tommy's next attempt at 300. That will fall to the awful Sunday Night Baseball crew on ESPN, Joe Morgan and Jon Miller.

Is it bad now that your blog is really the only place I can have stimulating baseball conversations? Well, keep posting, this gives me something to look forward to.
