Oli's little meltdown against the Pirates just goes to show you that as much as you want to show your ex that you are thinner, cuter, and overall better than when you dated him/her, it just doesn't matter. You'll always be one one they dumped.
Even if your new partner is waaay better looking... like well over .500 better looking.

Like a true Mets fan, you dwell on the negative... I say this as I fully expect Carlos Beltran to milk this abdominal injury for all it's worth, then come back and say he is not 100% and stink for two weeks effectively losing him basically until September.
You are so right MEC. How can we not have a complex? If you had to contend with a big brother that was as much of a bully as the Yankees, the struggles of the Brooklyn Dodgers, and the rollercoaster history of the team, it is hard not to be this way.
And if Beltran does that, I will end my love of Carloses because there will effectviely be none left on the damn team!
